Disability Information Scotland are recruiting for a part time (16 hours) Information Coordinator.

 

 

Role:  Information Coordinator

 

Salary:   £23,863 pro rata, 16 hours per week, £10,908.80 (The post is funded to 31 March 2018)

Benefits:  Workplace Pension with the People’s Pension. (3% employer contribution. Employees are also expected to contribute)

Status:  Part time

Location: Edinburgh

 

The Co-ordinator’s primary responsibilities include managing and implementing the information strategy ensuring it meets the needs of disabled people, their families and carers across Scotland together with the needs of professionals working with disabled people. The Information Co-ordinator works in co-operation with the Manager in the following key areas in furtherance of the organisation’s strategic plan

                          • Information Service
  • Partnership Working and Promotion
  • Monitoring and Reporting
  • Research and Development
      • Commitment to Equality

The office base is in central Edinburgh; however the post will entail travel and remote working across Scotland therefore access to own transport insured for business purposes would be desirable. The post will also involve some out of hours work. No overtime is payable but time in lieu will be given.
