Accessible technology
SITE Scotland is the leading Scottish sight loss charity providing accessibility training in the use of computers, tablets and smart phones to individuals and organisations. Here is what some of our recipients have said:
"The training was excellent. It has increased our awareness of the accessibility features of apple products for our clients. Your continued expertise and support post training has been extremely valuable to us and we would highly recommend your services to our clients and partners".
Diane Wright, Go4IT Digital Inclusion Lead, Quarriers

"Thank you for such a fantastic learning opportunity. I learned more today with one hour with you than I have since getting my IPhone in April. I've really been struggling with it and now I feel that I have started on a path that will surely help the social isolation I currently experience, given my very extremely rural lifestyle. I'm also more hopeful that by learning how to use my IPhone, I may be able to look for work or complete application forms at the Job Centre, which in my case is over 24 miles away."
AL, Kilbarchan

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for giving up your time today to show my son and I around the ipad and all the programmes. To be honest I am a bit overwhelmed with what it can do. As you know I have had one for some time now and I didn’t know half of the applications. I am completely impressed."
MB, Rosyth

"Thank you for the workshop you gave in Edinburgh. I would love to learn more on how to use Siri as well like you were doing on the iphone, your demonstration was making me get more excited about these possibilities and keen to find out more!"
FP, Edinburgh
